I find it odd that Botterill went to great lengths to sign/call up Smith when he has two knuckle chuckers in Zach Bogosian and Colin Miller who could have asked Cernak and Kucherov to dance. What does Smith have that Bogosian and Miller don't have?

BOGO has basically both feet out the door so he is not fighting anyone and Colin Miller has 5 fights in 7 years of NHL Hockey, i would hardly call the knuckle Chucking..

I think its embarrassing that JBotts would rather sign a goon, then trade away some assets for IDK a #2 center. OVER PAY if you have to.

If I could pick 3 guys from that list to talk to, I'd go with Malarchuk, Vaive & Barnaby. Malarchuk sent me an autographed photo when I was a kid after I sent him a get well letter while he was in the hospital. Vaive was at the end of his career when he joined the Sabres, but he showed me at a young age that anyone can score goals in front of the net (and quite a few at that) with pure grit and determination. Barnaby played with more adrenaline than just about any other player I've ever seen... and he mooned a bunch of folks from a Green during Kelly's Hunter Hope Tourney at Brierwood CC (I was in my early 20s at the time). He was in his own world, no doubt.

Who will Tampa take out this time while spanking the boys again? I thought Ralph Krueger was going to do a little better coaching this team, however, it is the same old same old. It looks like another change will be coming in leadership.

At this rate they will never win the cup let alone make a playoff run so he might as well unload the dead wait and sign goons. At least the games will be somewhat interesting. Right now, it is really hard to watch them play.

well,at least GMJB did something....Have no issue with this and worth at least watching him play....they play scared and have no one that can stand up for themselves.
